Adult Idiopathic Scoliosis Male

Case Information

57-year-old male with adult idiopathic scoliosis.
Patient had a large thoracic curve and lumbar curve which became very painful over the years.
Patient was unable to be active and was basically incapacitated because of the pain in the low back. Patient failed all non-operative measures.
Patient underwent a T2-pelvis posterior spinal fusion with instrumentation.
The x-ray from the front shows the correction of the thoracic and lumbar curves and the side x-ray shows the restoration of the normal contours of the thoracic and lumbar spine.
