NASS (North American Spine Society) is a leading conference where top spine surgeons from around the world will be attending. Dr. Munish Gupta speaks at the North American Spine Society Meeting in Chicago about his research in new state of the art treatment of spinal disorders. He has coauthored several other papers that are being presented at this conference.
This week I attended the 50th anniversary of the SRS during which we commemorated past leaders and pioneers of spinal surgery. As I spent time looking back at my 25 years in the field of spine surgery, I recalled two legends of spine surgery whose pictures I dusted off from my shelves. Dr. Robert B. Winter and Dr. Kenton D. Leatherman were pioneers of spinal deformity surgery. May they rest in peace.
